She closed her eyes and looked up at the moon
The rain showered over her soft face
She blinked her eyes and opened them
Only to be greated by a lonely star nestled in its place
"Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight,
I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight"
She squeezed her eyes shut so hard
That opening them would prove painful
The girl wished so intently on that star it burst
Into a shower of light
Then left the sky a little dimmer
Upon opening her eyes she smiled and waited
And still she stands there in the rain
Waiting for her wish
Waiting for death
Waiting for him to hold her
